Palmerville Gold Prospecting Tours
Join me for a gold prospecting experience at Palmerville Station in Far North Queensland
For the 2026 season I will be guiding small groups for a day of prospecting on the legendary Palmer River Goldfield.
Designed for beginners and customiseable to your interests, the day can include learning how to identify likely gold-bearing ground, training in how to use gold detecting machines as well as panning and sluicing methods
We will travel to locations where I have found gold in my 5 years of prospecting at Palmerville, and while gold can never be guaranteed, we'll be prospecting in proven ground with a strong likelihood of success. And of course, any gold you find is yours to keep!
No equipment? No problem. A range of modern Minelab gold detectors will be availble for your use, including the GPZ7000, SDC2300, Gold Monster 1000 and the all new GPZ8000.
